I'm a firm believer that the Japanese are one of, if not the most advanced people of the Earth in terms of societal structure, cultural background, general knowledge, and wisdom. They are a people whose values lay within the pursuit of perfection, beauty, and efficiency within nearly all facets of life in Japan. 22 posts and 2 image replies omitted. Click reply to view.
Looking at Asia as a whole, collectivism is practiced throughout most of the continent. However, it is the Japanese that have genuinely come close to mastering this ideology. No other country comes close to matching Japanese mannerism and air of politeness that allows the country to run as efficiently as it does. This is reflected in the fact that despite its relatively small size, the Japanese are home to one of the strongest military structures, economic powerhouses, and one of the most sought after tourist spots in the world.
Japanese conservatism also remains strong though well in-balance with liberal ideals. It's the balance that the Japanese have achieved in their society that I revere so much about them.
There are no other people that I see as genuine, compassionate, and as peaceful as the Japanese. Although anecdotal, my Japanese teacher remains one of my favorite teachers of all time and I miss him dearly. He truly was someone who cared for his students and provided the best in giving an authentic Japanese experience to them while learning.

How many people actually use aol.jp?
Probably 3 globally?
All the news stories are tech related and take it easy. (US aol stories are always Trump, Trump again, 1 trillion dead in disaster, etc)
