>Research clearly shows that taking three steps—(1) getting at least a high-school degree, (2) working full-time in your 20s, and (3) marrying before you have children—dramatically increases your odds of reaching the middle class or higher and minimizes the chances of your children growing up in poverty.

There is no middle class.

There is a class that sells their time for a wage or salary, and there is those that just "own things" and passively steal money from other people's productive labor.

TLDR: Profit (the bottom line on a balance sheet) is theft from workers

The stock market is a zero sum game. If you make money in the stock market, it's because someone else lost money.

More indirectly, the stock market going up is based on speculation of corporate profit, which is inherently money stolen from workers that should have gone to workers generating that value instead.

Are you a worker at the company?

Let me word it more simply, profit is excess value generated by workers that isn't given to the workers.

In the case of a worker owning stock in the same company they work at, then yes they could say they're stealing money from the collective workforce of the company (which includes themselves) to give to themselves.

Nobility of the 1800s:
>oh no my syphilis emburdened cock doth be oozing green pus again

No.612581

The french nobility was like 0.5% of the population and if you divided up their wealth to the other 99.5% you would barely move the needle in wealth for them. They had servants to do everything for them but many of those things they did are dirt cheap today and easily afforded by even the poorest via devices or via efficient services so long as they actually have jobs.

You would not have this under a communist system where there is literally zero incentive to scale up and be more efficient in doing so because every new store or factory you open will only decease your personal profit unless each store outperforms the last. And you would not have the innovative power of 300 million people trying to get ahead.

Communism is ultimately just an ideology of seeing a tiny proportion of people with high living standards and being mad because you're not them then laundering that resentment in false altruism by pretending they make everyone else dramatically worse off when they don't. And no serious person is a communist. Only students and lifelong academics whose job it is to pass it on to those students.

You seem to be mixing up a one-time wealth redistribution, and abolishing the fundamental problems of capitalism.

Security markets should have never been legal, money lending (or debt/interest) should have never been legal, and all forms of owning land/housing that you rent/mortgage should have never been legal.

No.612600

I'm not confusing it I'm demonstrating that wealth inequality is not what it's cracked up to be and only seems so obscene when you look at the exceptional people. 400k is doable in 10 years of work if you are good at it, but then why should you be making as much as average in your youth? depending on the age distribution, you might expect to only hit that in your late 30s or 40s. and that's ignoring the pitiful figure you get on the world scale

Saying that capitalism is not allowed from the beginning is a complete non-starter. I'm actually benefitting your position by allowing you to take the proceeds of capitalism up until present and then divide it. without that you have absolute squalor for everyone.

Also I make the argument because commies constantly try to convince me others with 'the 1% has this much of this isn't that unfair?' because ultimately that's the reasoning that creates them all
