went to church, it was really long today. 3 and a half hours. It was at night and in the dark and we held candles for like the first hour and a half, and then the turned the lights on and we did the rest, there was a baptism too, that took up some time, but then the last half hour was business as usual. I got there 20 minutes late though, but it seems I didnt miss much. Quite a lot of people for being at 8 PM-11:30, more than I would have thought anyway.
I went to church yesterday too, it was at 3 PM. Also quite full especially considering it was a weekday and started during work hours. And to think I thought yesterday was long at over 2 hours or so.

I helped with selling stuff for their bake sale. I did last Sunday too, and will again this Sunday as well.

I wrote the above part last night but didn't post it, so that was talking about Saturday actually.
Today, Sunday (Easter) I went to the middle mass, I didn't help with selling after the first mass I woke up too late and it too me too long to get dressed. And now I'm home during the last mass, I'll go back at the end of it to help sell. Though they honestly don't really need me, they have more than enough help.

That said there was a 6ish year hiatus. This is the first Easter back here, and I actually talked about it just today with the old lady that I know here since forever, and she said a lot of people passed away or moved, which is why there seemed to be a bit less people than normal. Before, for events like Christmas or Easter, there were times you'd have almost stand literally outside it was so packed.

Regarding the church girl meme I dunno if there are really any real opportunities. I'm sitting next to a church girl right now, by virtue of helping the bake sale when this mass finishes I guess. But there isn't much young people, like this late 20s age doing extracurricular stuff. The young young children have altar service and old people have their various prayers.
