went to the ice skating rink today
Didn't actually ice skate yet, I just went to check it out. Watched people skate for a couple hours.
It was a holiday today so there were a lot of people there. I think I'll give it a try tomorrow. 8 dollars to skate, 6 for the rental. I guess this can't be a daily thing. I wonder how long it'll take to get good enough. I suppose either way, I also have a hard limit of when the skating season ends in about a month anyway.

As expected there are a lot of cute girls into ice skating.

took ice skating lessons at the community center i think it was only 55$ for 6 lessons and i got some skates of normbook for 20$

Yeah I didn't end up going last week. But I went today. That holiday was a seriously extra busy day, there's like 6 people on the ice max for the time I've been here and I assume it was even less in the morning. I shouldn't have put off going last week, I kept trying to avoid the crowd but was unable to go in the morning so I didn't bother.
It's not so hard after all. I thought it would be like balancing on a razor thin edge but it's not. You kinda just lean the foot to the side and you can stand. I'm able to move without holding onto the wall now…more often than not. I need to figure out how they do they thing where you move your foot in and out while sliding
