This is definitely one of the best Shoji Meguro soundtracks.

Probably wasted on the least known 3D megaten game. Getting to this temple and this starts playing is *chef's kiss* kino.

There's no pokemon/fusion in this game, you play as static characters. You can revert to human form but it's basically useless, probably my only complaint is playing as the butt ugly demon characters.

I dig the aesthetics overall though. Certainly one of the strangest games I've ever seen.

there was too little variety exploring open areas gets boring quickly they needed to throw in some actual dungeons some nice claustrophobic labyrinths here and there would have gone a long way imagine if elden rang had no legacy dungeons thats basically what smtv is

This game is bizarre, the 2000s was like a different universe and somewhere we switched timelines.

It has a BBC character violently beating up women, makes fun of lesbians, has one of them in a thong with their ass out, it just feels other worldly.

I've been watching this east yuro vtuber play the first game while at work. I was also considering finally playing devil survivor 2, but I've been super backlogged on other vns and jrpgs.

Finished DDS1 already, I guess it's not that long, the game basically ends telling you to go buy DDS2.

Some people say the game is too easy, it's more like bosses ask for specific strategies and are easy if you go with them. Oddly NOT "hit their elemental weakness". I like the plot better than any other megaten game, spoiler you're already dead it's the afterlife. Characters are okay except Cielo who they gave a bad Jamaican accent. I assume he was speaking Osaka-ben in Japanese, but I kind of liked this joke character by the end anyway. Lots of 2000s edge, use of the word "bitch" and "ass", etc. I'm not sure what the original script was, but it felt a bit like Ghost Stories dub at times.
