Just saw an Apache attack helicopter fly over my house. I live near a coast guard base and it's common to hear/see their orange helicopters (MH-65 Dolphin) but I never seen one of these. Distinctly different sound too, loud af, I don't think I've ever heard one either.

Was flying really low in the middle of the day, pitch black, distinctive shape, the rocket pods were visible on the side. Was flying northwest towards the the interior of the country, wtf they doing over there?

If it went east (the Atlantic ocean) I would assume it was going to a foreign base.

Any other direction I would assume it's going to a domestic base. Probably something mundane like just transporting it.
