Nintendo is arguing that Yuzu is responsible for their users pirating ToTK (that shitty $70 BoTW DLC they took 6 years to make)

If Nintendo wins, emulation will be illegal because you are responsible if users pirate games.

Nihongo is broken. A non broken language wouldn't present you with 300 characters for one pronunciation. With almost every character having 2-4 additional pronunciations that go down the same rabbit hole.

Yuzu settled, 2.4 million dollars and agreed to completely kill yuzu.

The settlement also said any third-party distributing/using yuzu source code will be in violation

They didn't make a new law, and this didn't go to trial so it's not an "official" precedent, from today on emulation is de-facto illegal. Something like this has never happened before, everyone knows now you can easily sue/shutdown an emulator, and the chilling effect that comes with that.
