In many ways, it's more free than the US. Look at this market / bazaar, there's none in the US because pigs would shut it down for not following 1,000 different permits, regulations, certifications, inspections, fees, taxes, etc.
Yes we have some constitutional protections for speech and guns and "unreasonable" searches, but pigs/courts get around these all the time through lies or loopholes. The ruling class and their pigs hate your rights and are constantly trying to circumvent them.
China rules appear to be "don't say bad stuff about the CCP" and "get a VPN if you want to use the internet" and no one really cares what you do otherwise. All the communist policies have obviously resulted in people not really having to worry about money, which is the root cause of most crime, and has resulted in mostly peaceful towns. Pretty much anything bad that happens there happens in the US at a worse scale. The media tries to trick me into believing we need to go to war with them to give them freedom and democracy, while I live in a dystopian police state with less freedom that tries to remove Trump from the ballot and press over 90 bullshit charges against him right before the election.
