>77MiB with Xorg running

Hate to tell you but a modern Arch (or any Linux) system is going to use significantly more, even with some of the most minimal WMs possible like dwm.

yeah i couldn't even get the live installer to run cause it needs more ram, what's the point of even having a minimum system requirement of 512 mb then

It's nothing to do with Linux. Donkey kong games don't have that.

if you want to play nintendo then the best solution is a nintendo console you can just turn it on plug in the game and play they were literally designed for that

linux was designed for virgs with too much time on their hands to tinker with configuration files and pretend their superior because they know how to write a bunch of gobbledygook to run their games instead of just pressing play

ayo, real quick,
lemme drop a dime on ya…

we name is Floigan, that's F to da N,
we come talkin' bout bidness, cuz we ain't no fren

we got dogs in da yard, and a big ol' spliff,
bouta pipe down some shawtys with dem big ol' hips

we got Colt in the can, and a 9 in the hand,
and now it's bout time ya hear da master plan…

we come from the past, to bring some news,
"Floigan Bros. here to fight the friends!"

with muscle, wit and Floigan force,
we return from '01 to correct the course

but we can't do it, not without you,
and not without the man who said Floigan will do

Bernie lookin' down, guardian angel,
saw the future in us when we was still on the table

casting dreams, on a Moigle and a meme,
Big Bern and SEGA brought Floigan to da team

and now it's time, that we done some work,
the junkyard's closed and we loadin' the hurt

the friends on the run, early passover,
it's bout time for Mario to move over

now the dream is cast, and we sellin' out,
but we ain't leavin' on a single doubt

the plumber's dead, and Bernie too,
but the future is bright for Floigan and the crew…

word.

all is not lost
also i got reminded at just how easy old laptops are to work with, to get to the ram slots i had to unscrew a total of two (2) screws from the laptop i cannibalized and a total of one (1) screw from the thinkpad and just lift a single plastic cover, modern laptops are a complete nightmare in comparison where you have to basically disassemble everything

lunix pros all use cd/ls commands in the terminal to navigate their filesystem you see when you remove features it gets better you don't look for substitutes you just suck it up and fine joy in being a cuck

>games on linux

no sorry for that you need a windows runtime like wine which is essentially a chunk of windows running on your superior linux os that can't natively run video games

Wine is certainly not like a chunk of Windows sitting on your computer. It contains zero code from Windows (they'd get sued), it's a program written for Unix systems.

It's similar to you claiming there's a PS2 on your computer because you have PCSX2 installed

well due to resources constraints i used a really lightweight interface that launches apps via a right click menu, but you can of course also use more traditional interfaces that have desktop icons just like windows if you so desire
the reason you might not see those that much is though is that desktop icons are kinda inefficient and archaic and not really needed when you have various launchers and docks

i personally use gnome, i just press the super key and type in whatever application i want to use like this!
