Elden Ring made me want to play some of the older games.
Never actually played Demon's Souls but it's very short, I was surprised how quickly it was over.
The bosses are very slow and easy, but I had a harder time overall with how much awful things like the poison swamp area, world 4-2, running out of healing items early game, etc.

Going through DaS3 now, realized it's much hard than ER because you can't just stance break every single enemy
The vast majority of enemies you can't at all, you have to fight them fairly instead of just stun locking them to death basically. I think I appreciate this game more now, I think I do prefer the more linear well designed levels over open world.
