Big companies sponsor all kind of things, like at sports games you can see ads all over the stadium.

Perhaps the people who organize the fag parade are more interesting to look at, but corporate sponsors are likely just paying for ads.

Uncontrolled capitalism is harmful, it leads to things like corporations and foreign investors buying single-family homes until they cost a gorillion dollars and everyone is a rent slave.

China is right to keep corporate greed and the rich in check, it's just the overbearing censorship and lack of free speech from the state that's the issue.

If we could combine China's state control of the economy, with America's 1st amendment right to free speech, that would be bussin fr.

In the US the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 90% combined, we have huge numbers of homeless or near-homeless people, China has almost no homeless despite having quadruple our population, and for what it's worth a lower total GDP.

Chinese government literally went to every single household and gave them money until they weren't in poverty anymore just so they could say they "eliminated poverty". Housing costs Chinese people $100-$300 USD a month or even less

It's based on this "hukou" system though, so you only get the subsidized/free housing in your own hukou (birth/family) region, meaning people still move to Beijing and live in a closet for $500 but they don't have to.

Poverty in the US is far worse overall than in China, the amount of poverty, financial struggle, and extremely low social mobility in the supposedly richest country on Earth is just insane. The pathway to high paying jobs in the US is blocked by 5 or 6 figure $, but in China the pathway of college/training is completely free.
