The cels were right about everything.
One becomes attractive and suddenly the norms think your life has value even though when you were ugly just some months ago they considered you worthless.
Now you have people laughing at every little wisecrack you make, they approach just to talk or give you compliments, they even break your attention from what you were doing to give you a dumb compliment.
They give you jobs and are super nice and are quick to please.
I sure hope they don't think I have forgotten or forgiven.
