The leaves of most plants have life spans independent from the life span of the plant itself.

Leaves that are old are eaten by the plant, the plant sucks the nutrients back out of them as they die and they change colors.

No matter how well fed the plant is, its older leaves die and show symptoms of nutrient deficiency.

Plants can naturally tell that some leaves aren't getting much light, it will pick those leaves to self-cannibalize to feed itself, while leaving the good leaves getting lots of light.

In the case of trees, I guess it's just how they were designed. Why would they kill off all leaves, leaving no method of photosynthesis, for the entire winter? There is still some sunlight in the winter, but perhaps eating all their leaves and going into a dormant hibernation is better. It's a mystery that they stay alive.

Do you mean the claim that the posts are made identifiable in order to stay anonymous? I believe I asked for a further explanation, since it sounds absurd on the face of it. (I might as well say I climb mountains because I'm scared of heights, or sing in public because I don't like attention, or post with a name because I want to stay anonymous). That still doesn't make sense. Are you afraid people will trace your image back to Pixiv and find the original artist? They can just use saucenao for that, even without the ID. And if they couldn't, well that's just being rude to the artist.

An identifiable posting pattern and what is effectively a signature makes it trivial to trace you to other sites. Actually "trace" is the wrong word. Even someone who doesn't want to see you can't help it when you announce your presence so loudly. (This is all putting aside the question of just what other sites you could be talking about.)

A musical journey, invoking the… gray and rather non-orange motifs of Autumn. Koji Kondo's tracks for the shadow temple helped invoke a sense of occult and death, but was rather ambient. This remix adds more rhythm, a faster tempo, and shows off a few musical tricks.
