I noticed that ever since mom moved out we went from having a large outdoor trash can full of bags every week to maybe filling one bag every fortnight. Then it hit me, women are World Enders.

All the little wasteful convenience minded plastic doodads you see are primarily marketed towards women. Women prefer single use items that need not be maintained or cleaned regularly. Women buy a lot of junk they don't need just because other women do and they want to fit in. Most of the evils men do are for the sake of women. Perhaps the most damning is that women being the masters of reproduction are responsible for the myriad of issues that crept up as the result of population explosion the world over.

Both of my parents produce tons of trash. I'm not sure it's a woman thing, I think it's just a boomer thing. The worst is when they leave soft drink cans and bottles everywhere, and when they do pick up after themselves they often throw them in the trash even though we have a bag by the garage door to collect soda cans and bottles to exchange at Kroger. Meanwhile I only drink water which I have a refillable bottle for.
