Everyone knows why. The jobs literally come with negative status to females. They don't pay enough to afford a house/car/wife/food/children. Why even work at that point if NEETing in your mom's basement is an option?

I saw a comment from a roastie on one of those videos, unironically saying "why should I go 50/50 with a man if his 50 isn't as big as mine?"

Talking about hypergamy has been done to death on imageboards, so I'll save you the commentary, but most women themselves aren't self-aware of it, and it's easy to forget women really do think like that.

It's just a matter of looks
Women can make their own money now through a do-nothing email girl office job supplemented with onlyfans and whatever her parents give her. If she has a kid she can get money from the father along with the government as well. They don't need your money and it isn't even a consideration until the guy is making deep six figures lifestyle change money and even then it's just a gold digger arrangement and she'll happily cheat if she feels the urge.
