Images mean much less than they convey.

I volunteered for a charity run a few years ago where I basically stood alone and blocked off a path to keep people on the event route. I went back to the event center after it was over to return my vest. Some chinese girls I interacted with like once wanted a photo, which I assume she uploaded to chinese Myspace and bragged to her friends about being around pale western men because white skin means purity and nobility in china or something.
