He's a college athlete, he's somebody. When have you worked for anything or done anything useful? He took time out of his busy, important life to show that that little redhead can be fly too.

Look through this and check some draft profiles in general

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000660145/article/2016-nfl-draft-favorite-picks-for-each-round

You have people posting pictures of themselves in bong masks and being arrested and still being picked up early in professional drafts. You'll also find zero coverage of positive press. Press does nothing for college athletes

No.8841

>>8840
Any press is good press. If someone recognizes a name and attaches it unconsciously to something positive (sat with a lonely diabled kid, he's a good guy) they'll favor it over anything else. If a drafter picks "the athlete who sat with kids" they feel better about themselves, plus they get rep in their circles of fellow drafters.

Did you learn nothing from the trump campaign?

No.8842

>>8841
No that's not how it works, they'll still pick someone who rushed 100 yards more than him, even if that guy has an instagram full of bong rips or whatever other degen garbage.

Yeah, it is. When stats are comparable it comes down to politics and PR. Stats are almost always subsidiary to PR.

You know nothing, autistic retard.

Stop. Name a college athlete whose feel-good press got them drafted without using Google. Now try it with Google. It doesn't happen. Pro leagues hire athletes, not philanthropists

You keep conflating "good reputation" with "press". You should differentiate between the two before continuing this discussion.

Which one of us is conflating anything? The original comments >>8838 >>288945 were about press. I have used the word press in literally every post. Press does nothing for college athletes
