Perhaps white males see less risk in the world because they
create, manage, control, and benefit from so much of it. Perhaps
women and nonwhite men see the world as more dangerous
because in many ways they are more vulnerable, because they
benefit less from many of its technologies and institutions, and
because they have less power and control

to get down to 8% from 12% bodyfat I would need to lose 6 pound of fat. 6 pounds of fat is 21000 calories. At a light exercise TDEE of 2,275 I would need to fast for 9.23 days to reach 8%. Or with a sedentary TDEE of about 2000, about 11 days to reach that.
do you really lose 0 muscle while fasting, even if youre not obese? I thought that really only holds true if you are obese. If you do lose more muscle the lower body weight you go, I don't know how to factor that in.
https://blog.2keto.com/protein-loss/well i found this and according to this calculator you'd lose .19 lbs of muscle a day (assuming all the protein your body was using to make glucose was coming from muscle).
And you can also burn only a max of .13 lbs a day form fat… So that means it'd actually take me 46 days to lose 6 lbs of fat without eating. And I'd also lose 8.74 lbs of muscle in the process…
I guess it doesnt take into account the fact that youre losing weight along this time so it's even worse… That sucks. But it all hinges on the max amount of energy you can draw from bodyfat per pound of fat.
Does anyone have any refutation for this?
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15615615/>A limit on the maximum energy transfer rate from the human fat store in hypophagia is deduced from experimental data of underfed subjects maintaining moderate activity levels and is found to have a value of (290+/-25) kJ/kgd. >This study used Ancel Keyes Minnesota Starvation experiment data and basic calculus to derive the value of (290±25) kJ/kg day or (31.5053±2.72) kCal/lb day as the maximum rate that energy can be drawn from body fat.Has anyone proven otherwise you can draw more than that per day from fat per pound of fat?
